What we make

DIFFA produces hand-finished beaded capes and abayas from Dubai. Our work sits in one specific category: pieces where the beadwork is applied by hand, stitch by stitch, rather than glued or heat-pressed onto the fabric.

That distinction is the whole point of the brand. Turn one of our capes inside out and you will see the thread path tracing the pattern on the reverse — the map of the work that went into it. Glued decoration leaves a blank back, and lifts at the edges after a few wears. Ours does not, because it is sewn.

Why hand-beading costs what it does

A densely beaded cape represents many hours of manual work by a skilled artisan. That cost does not fall with volume, because the work is not mechanised — it is the same number of hours for the tenth piece as for the first. When you compare our prices to machine-decorated pieces, that labour is the difference you are looking at.

We would rather explain that openly than compete on price and quietly cut the finishing where nobody looks.

Retail and wholesale

We sell directly to customers through this site, with retail pricing from $80 per cape. We also supply boutiques, multi-brand stores and stylists across the UAE and the wider GCC, with wholesale pricing quoted on request from 10 pieces.

For stockists we keep the process straightforward: request a physical sample first, agree quantities and lead times in writing, and get told early if production is running behind rather than on the day it was due.
